Any idea how much before 5pm? Traffic on 70W is a pain during the week with rush hour, I was hoping to get in the gates by about 4-4:30. Also, will they have a list of who is coming from you so we just tell them who we are, or should we bring our Paypal receipt to show that we paid you, or ??

Thanks.

There will be a couple of us sharing the responsability of collecting money and passing out tech cards. ACEMAN will have an updated list of who has paid and not.

Also, a Z should do better than 3hrs and 50 mins from OC.

Thumbs up

I updated the list on the main page..

Also, i plan on having a hand out at the gate. When you show up and your name is checked off the list you will get a armband and some info on the night.

Working on a few things yet, but i should have everything wrapped up by friday.

I plan on being at the track around 4pm. I will let everyone know a solid answer on this by friday.

So what do you guys and girls think about this idea?

I think that is a good idea.. There is no reason for a NA car to be staged up next to a FI car.

We should atleast have the races look interesting.

But i dont mind running against a FI car

Id prefer we set up to race against who we want...but surely if NA cars dont want to race FI cars, then by all means dont. Some may want to so they can see the difference. On the other side of things, I may sit at the line 5 seconds, cuz Im not worried about R/T or the guy next to me, Im worried about my launch...

I would love to line up against a FI to see where I stand. It might push me over to get a kit oneday. Besides I think well have enough time at the track to run each other and everyone at least twice.

We can be the first to line up I'm hoping my gears come in soon. I call my local dealer everyday andask when itscoming. Maybe this will bethe week...national backorder ftl...
I do hope my new exhaust and intake was worth the money......If I gain a good consistent 2-3mph over stock I would be happy. Even though a good 5-6mph boost would be better.

I'll line my FI car up with you

In actuality, I'd like to make my first pass a single run, because I just installed lighter coils springs in the front of the car tonight. I'm not sure how they're going to affect the launch, and I'm not 100% sure the car is going to leave straight. I'd hate to ruin someone's day (myself included) by crossing the centerline on the back tires or something like that.

Usually 10-teens, mph depends on how well I hook, anywhere from 130-134. Trans is a Tremec TKOII, which is sort-of a beefed up T5 but with no 5th gear. Half my class runs in the 9's on a regular basis, so we're testing different things out to figure out why my car hasn't yet. Front springs is one - my best 60ft time is a 1.35 but I average 1.39, the faster guys are anywhere from 1.30-1.34, and they always pull away right from the line. Trying to get the weight back on the tires so it will stick better, we'll see if lighter springs help.

I would say just let people line up with whoever they want. Some might want to run FI guys just to see the difference.
