does anyone happen to have an extra helmet I could use, or one I could switch off with??

i think most tracks have them available for rental. Just dont know if this particular event rentals will be available or not.

 

At this late date, a helmet might be difficult to find. Motorcycle shops carry a big helmet selection, but they are generally not certified for NHRA racing.

 

Too late to get in on this? I didn't want to post saying I'd be there if my car wasn't back in my hands....however it looks like I'll get her back tomorrow so I'd like to attend and possibly bring along some friends (and their vettes) for people to beat on.

I'm coming for the good times and check my 1/4 times. Don't matter to me who I line up with. I won't be looking for R/T either, just a time slip. I wish Sly_Z would come tho... I need to put him back in his place from 2 years ago ;-)

I think seeing how I run against other NA cars will be fun too. I was ready to go FI 2 months ago but sheet happens. Now I'll have to wait a year or so. With current mods I am just hopeing for mid 13's, past best was 13.98 all stock.

Looks like we will see 84 during the day and a low of 62 that night. That should make for some nice times. And i dont see any rain in the forcast

If you are bringing someone with you and they will be just watching.. Make sure they dress warm or bring something warm to put on later.. Sitting on the stands is ALOT cooler than being in your car

I will have a info packet at the gate as you sign in and you will also get a arm band ( must be worn ).

When you guys first show up my wife will be taking individual pics of each driver and their car. After that, you can go tech in and get ready to run at 6pm.

This will all be covered in the hand out.

Well I was told it shipped out Monday-however I have yet to receive the tracking info I have been asking for for 2 days If they don't come through you all will see a big post about it from me cause im getting upset about it now

Same **** for me as well. I ordered a GTspec strut bar almost 2 weeks ago and was told I'd have it before this coming thursday. Now I just got an email saying that GTspec still has not shipped it. The thing that pisses me off is they already charged my credit card TWO WEEKS ago. Most places charge your card when it ships out NOT when you place the order.

Yea right,i was the slowest fi car out there with the old stillen setup.I cant wait to see what the twins will do...............now if i can only get that v/b and tranny cooler installed.
