Spacer takes all of 30 minutes-Id run the car, then put the spacer on then run it again!

Todd-weather is looking great for some nice times. Preload that drivetrain and feather the gas off the line, Capitol is sticky. Remember start at 18psi this time, and get the slicks HOT

Weather is looking perfect for a track night... I just hope its not too busy, i would like to get more than 3 or 4 runs in.

Yep, I think 18psi is the ticket... IF not, then i will lower them a little more..

Thanks again for the tips Bert...

+1 Capitol is like riding on super glue compared to Mason Dixon.

I cut a 2.15 on one of my first pulls ever there with bone stock engine (full weight).

The best I could do at mason was a 2.21 (with plenum spacer, TPs, Y-pipe and atleast 100 lbs lighter).

Good luck!

Just get there early (1/2 hour before they open). I got 3 quick runs in before I burnt the hell out of my clutch. I probably could have gotten 2 or 3 more before it started getting busy.

If Capital is so great, why do you guys refer to it as CRAPITAL???

But, i am looking forward more to this track then MIR... Mainly because of the temp for friday evening.

de·crep·it [di-krep-it] adjective

1. weakened by old age; feeble; infirm: a decrepit man who can hardly walk.
2. worn out by long use; dilapidated: a decrepit stove.

i figure if i didn't know what its literal meaning was, there are prolly others who don't either

SOOOoo The place is run by the elderly? Bunch of old men with walkers stumbling around?

Do i have to spray down the water box myself?

Very interesting

In this case Option #2 applies.

BTW Todd ... I know I'm bench racing, but if you can cut a 1.7X at that track 12.9X is NOT out of the question (assuming you don't have that rev limiter problem in the top of 4th gear).

The crowd and Glen Dirty locals is what I dislike about Capitol. Sooo much garbage rice, and they all think they're hard cuz they run 14.1 in their SRT4's...

yeah, those damn SRT-4's. I'm tired of them talking crap and then having to run against them. They are fun to beat though.

I'm definitely down for Friday. Capitol is definitely like superglue compared to mason dixon. I was making 1.9xx 60' times on street tires up there.

Knowing me it would have taken about 2 hours since I'm real nervous about doing anything to my Z. I'll post the results in the drag section. This should be interesting.
