I'd be interested to see where he's going to get the extra trap speed from...13.3 @ 101, he's going to have to pull 10mph from somewhere.

 

before the tune the sti was boost spiking-then cel-then "safe mode",,so 13.3's in "safe mode"...so i would say the car is capible of running high 12's then,so i see no reason on why it couldnt run low-mid 12's as it is right now since the tune....but wont be able to prove that until mid june when mason-dixon opens for the season.

You dont run those times in any safe mode-thats a lame excuse. That car with i/e is no faster (slower than some) than a WELL driven stock car, they know that thats why they're making excuses...

I dont know if the point of this thread was for us to give the Z props or what, certianly they couldnt expect anything positive coming towards the STi on the Z forums. Its not a bad car, but if it didnt have a passenger that makes it seem even slower than what we thought.

 

why cant you run now? i mean you do have a supercharger on an already powerful v6. and just so you know ill be more modded in spring so we should probobaly see where were at now and then.

and so all you offended z people know i did kinda expect this to start a war but just so you guys i know i do have a 350z too and imo it should be us imports against all the v8 domestic bastards that really think there hot ****.

2005 wrx sti-k&n short ram intake- hks ssqv bov- invidia n1 race cat back- invidia v2 catless downpipe- AMS protune(318 awhp 394 ft-lb tq)
So it went into limp mode before the tune with intake, bov, & TBE. Thats hard to beleive because thats the first things that all my friends with STI's do to their cars and they dont go limp You havent even touched the boost up to that point. Maybe there just needs to be a driver change. Atlantic Motorsports is a great shop they did a couple of cars that i know of and they are sick but dude an STI with close to 400wtq should WALK an NA 350z. ITs lighter and u got a shitload more torwque. SO i dont know what to tell u man other then maybe u just didnt want embarass a 350z owner with it cause u have one and have mercy for us
