Whats up Tailsnismo! Either way you cant lose on the 3" or the Y-pipe.

I am refering to the True Dual Max-Flow 3" AAM Spec exhaust, I personally wasn't impressed by the quality of welds nor the vibrant muflers you all use -- and that of course would be total OVERKILL on an N/A car. And it can be all yours for the low low AAM price of 1500 bucks.
The OP should listen to his fellow Mid-A brothers and sisters and stick with the Nismo for now.
I appreciate every bodys feedback and i think im going to listen to you guys and keep my nismo exhaust its not to bad I dynoed at 277 whp last week with just the test pipes I know thats nothing compared to most of you guys .............alberto,lol , but im trying. I guess the only way to get some power is the old mighty turbo and void the hell out of my warranty.Again thanks guys I was really close to telling AAM to go with it.By the way the AAM guys are great they really take the time out to explain everything and they are always willing to do whatever it takes to please a customer. 2 thumbs up AAM keep up the good work.
To the OP, I've got a Nismo exhaust and AAM y-pipe on my car. I don't know about the power gains NA, as I've only dyno'd with the nitrous recently, but the sound is amazing, IMO. If you'd like to hear it just come out to any of the Columbia meets. I'm normally there.
AAM did it at there shop and i made a mistake it was 266 with stock everything 274 with the AAM testpipes and I did not do it with the dual intakes just yet so im not sure if thats going to make a difference.

yup our turbo kits wont be out until next spring according to greddy but you can always purchase a GTM/HKS turbo. I think its goin to be big$$$ though since most ofit is custom fab. Then again yougotta pay big $$$ to play
My advice is to enjoy your car for a while AS-IS, keep exploring the forums hardcore for a few months, come out to some meets, and soon you'll be well versed on the proper upgrade path for your car and get some ideas along the way from other members.
Because the VQ35HR is so new, there aren't too many parts avalible yet. Wait a few months and learn the limits of your car before you sink a whole bunch of money into forced induction, and if you do, my advice to you is Function:Tuned FTMFW (For The Mother F*ing Win)
Enjoy your Z, you really got something special there.

If I had an HR I wouldnt boost it. They are monsters NA! Id do a 3.9FD, and NA mods as they come out. Then tune it down the road when better EMS options are available-I think easy 300whp, and with driving skills thats mid 12's @ 110mph EASY! tailnismo-you need to come out to the Columbia meets and meet everybody get ideas, too bad the season is over for most of us, I think Im gonna put my bucket away for the falll/winter now.
