I will actually be around this weekend, I will try to make it out. I'll get back to you when the time gets closer, my schedule is kinda hectic right now haha.

 

Yeah my wifes off for the summer from mcv and currently in cali so I am free to venture this weekend without her, she usually studies and gets jealous if I go out without her.....btw whens the sandwhich business opening, she wanted one before she flew out today but I was sure its not open yet.

 

Yeah it won't be open for business until early - mid september. I still have 7 weeks of training and then need 2 weeks to a month to hire and train everyone. In the middle of all of that the buildout has to happen, and if we get held up with permits then it could take longer, so we'll see!

 

so can anyone else make it out tonight besides me and sleepy z?

yeah I will only be there 645-730 though, hosting some japanese rotary builders my boss and he will have the 09 rx8 out there. one guy is coming from maryland to have the builders sign his engine cover, no idea how many rx7/8s will be there but I let them know what was going down. Not to often that you get to meet the person who built the motor in your car straight from the factory.

 

Should have come to southside. There's a Friday night meet @ a driving range down here, tonight complete with 3 Ferrari's. 2 360's and a 430. I didn't know about it until 7:30 when the wife got home and told me there were a few nice cars with horses on them.

 

Yeah I hung out tonight with the rotor crowd briefly and then hung out with mazdas japan rotary experts tonight, hell we even had a translator, goodtimes but the starbucks was brief for us.

Its too damn humid/hot for me here in VA, sorry I figured I would hang out more but damn this is my first summer in VA and its terrible, missing cali evennings right now.

 

haha its funny, because here in Champaign, IL the max temp was 90 with little humidity, and everyone was freaking out because they thought it was sooooo hot lol

I keep telling them its like 100 every day with 80-90% humidity and they don't believe me!
