Default Resolution from Nissan finally on 06 oil prob.

Hey guys there is already a thread under engine and stuff lol but
looks like all us 06 Z owners finally get some resolution to the
oil consumption problem...............after MONTHS of fighting it out
hearing "Oh it's normal for the car to consume a quart or so between
oil change." The BS is DONE , Nissan has put out a TSB on 03 to 06 for
oil consumption problems. My car is now at Victory Nissan of Chantilly....so far
they have been very helpful, even got a loaner. My service advisor is also
a DAMN HOTTIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope I left my breather mods on, an intake would not be the cause for oil consumption across the board. The advisor stated that they would be taking the car in and perform compression tests as well as check for leaks and or start oil consumption test, change out oil and check every 1000 miles.

Iam just glad our cries are not going unheard!

Yeah I advise all you guys to keep an eye on the oil level on your vehicles, I caught mine not even registering on the dipstick at this very time last year. Since then the only thing I get from the dealer is the "oh its norm" kinda deal.
So I have just stayed ontop of adding oil every 1500 or so miles. The girl at the dealer straight up told me be ready for an engine swap if necessary, straight from land o the rising sun!
