Question Wheel repair in Richmond

I need the very edge of two of my wheels repaired, they have been curbed up kind of deeply and am just worried about the air seal of the tires. They aren't that bad but I just wanna be safe. These are not the stock rims btw, they are the O•Z racing wheels I got a few months ago and have not yet put on. Got them for $200 shipped and figured it would be worth it just to fix 'em up. Any recommendations in the Richmond area? I don't wanna pay like $100 to get a rim fixed and re-painted, might as well just buy new wheels. Thought I would ask before I started throwing darts at the yellow pages.

Nope, it is still in the shop. A new body shop now, not the dealership. I asked my dad what the status was last time he talked to them, and he said that they said it will hopefully be done by Christmas. And damn! I sure hope so! It has been 5 weeks I think now. I guess it depends if they get my body panels in time.

Then I need to take it to another shop to get my exhaust done, and another one to fix whatever injector issues I am having (I know.. sounds like a personal problem haha).

I just hope once I get rid of the Cobalt and get my car back, weather actually permits me to drive it, or I'll be screwed.

I think getting my Z back on the road is my present this year.

It was jarred kind of loose after I was rear-ended and when I was driving one day I hit a bump and my right exhaust pipe literally sheared in half about 3 inches from my muffler. Probably didn't help that my exhaust was 17 years old and rusting, but that's another story.

So I have some A Spec mufflers hanging out in my living room waiting for my car to be out so I can get all new custom piping =).

I just had my stock wheel refinished because of some really bad curb rash by Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists last week. It's a mobile wheel repair place and the guy travels around the Richmond/Charlottesville area. I dropped the wheel off at 9:30 in the morning and it was ready for me after work the same day. I paid $100 to have the wheel repaired and refinished and was very pleased with the results. The refinish is a perfect match to the rest of my stock wheels.

Here's their contact info:

Telephone: 804-512-5795

Hope this helps

Let me know when you need to get the exhaust fixed, my dad has a good friend who owns his own shop and does custom exhaust work. He doesn't do discounts, even for me, but it will be quality.

Hokie2000 - Do you have any before/after pics? Thanks for the info.

Mike - I will let you know when my car is out and needs the exhaust done. Where is he located and what kind of price range do you think we're talking? (I'm pretty sure I'm just doing cat-back piping, & I have mufflers). Thanks!

I have no idea of the price, I've never had that custom of exhaust work done. He is located near the Atlee exit on 95 North (one exit north of where 295 and 95 intersect).
