I hated the old Evo's...but holy schnikies have you seen the new design? MUCH better looking. Nothing close to what it was. Went away from the box design.
If I was in your shoes, I would be looking at a BMW 335, Lexus IF, or even better.... a Charger SRT8. Wicked torque, great looks and good size, brembos, race inspired seats. That would be my pick.

yeah the s4 is a hot car as is the gs...im looking for a reliable car like a accord so i can keep the z but if i cant find something im going all out(or as all out as my wallet will allow!! and yes the srt charger is bad ***!!!

Lexus' are also very nice, I work for Lindsay Lexus and I drive them all day let me tell you the skinny
IS250- 6spd has a horrible clutch, I hated driving them, for a luxury car you'd think it wouldn't be so harsh, I've stalled in that thing from time to time. auto was fine, needs more power though
Really heavy flywheel, really slow
IS350- No 6spd version but good amount of power and torque, you can really feel it, I like these
Sporty and can accomodate 5 but not for tall or big people, I see people squeeze into them all the time and its really funny
GS300/350/400/450h- LOVE THE GS SERIES! Its very roomy inside and has all the comforts you'd expect in a luxury car, backup cam, nav, heated seats, bluwtooth, voice command, everything you could want. If I were to get one this would be the series. The 400 has hp and torque to boot, 450h has a shibby load of hp with its two electric motors and is effin fast but hybrids make alot of wierd noises and at slow speeds they jerk alot and I hate them

yeah an older M45 all VIPed out would be fly.
Here's some info on that IS300 if you want a fast import professional semi family oriented sedan. I think it would be a good compromise. And he is accepting trades, who knows might be able to trade straight up - boost around on the daily grind at 370hp and not have another car payment. Sounds good to me.
