What Tires Do You Have?
What's going on guyz, I on another mission. I'm getting ready to buy tires and im trying to see what everyone in here is running and how they feel about them. I know someone like Motormouth or Eric is going to say "There is a tire section in forum why dont you post there." Most of those guyz are from CA and don't have the same weather we do!

Make: Shandong Linglong Rubber co. (#25 in the world baby!)
Model: a bunch-o-chinese symbols
just kidding, they are too heavy because they have too much lead in them!!!
BFG KDW-TT: (not to be confused with the New tread design)
245-40/275-40-18
Very very loud tires. Annoyingly loud when radio is off.
Great grip, good progressivity when drifting.
Can't get past the noise...would not buy them again because of it.
I suggest Advan Neovas or Bstone RE01-R's (be careful, cold weather will damage the Neova tires). They stick extremely well in summer weather...don't know about noise.
Stay away from General....there is a scam out there where they market their crap as good tires.... general FTL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's for most of the year, and Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS for the winter.
The GS-D3's suck in the snow (guess what's still on my car today). I love them in the summer. They grip really well, even in the rain.
The RE960AS's are awesome in the snow. It takes the car from pretty unsafe in the snow to very drivable. I had a blast in the snow last year once I got appropriate tires.

Do NOT get these. These are the worst tires you can buy, trust me. They are a 'package deal' tire which they put on the packages you buy from the online sites. That allows them to keep the price so low and look like you are getting a great deal on rims and tires when you are throwing performance down the crapper.
The tread block design is the biggest factor of noise. The bigger the block, the more noise, normally. They design tires to have different size tread blocks so the frequencies of the resonating tread blocks don't match...when they match, they are much louder (look on your tire, you will see they are all different sizes). This is related to why the Army didn't march in-step over some bridges.

I've run on a number of tires....
Nitto Neo Gen - My current tire, these are infact all seasons and I personally love them, very confident with them in the rain and seem to grip very well in the dry.
Mastercraft Avenger HP - Currently on my stock rims, these love to slide when cold. Great treadlife.
Dunlop SP9000 - Not very impressed with these, dangerous in the rain
Nitto 555's - Not much better than the Dunlops, slightly better in the rain.
Fuzion ZRi - Junk, simply junk (made by firestone). First week with them I had a blow out.
Pilot Sports - What can I say, the industry standard.

The Ultimate Street Tire is the New Bridgestone RE01-R's. AMAZING handling! Raced them at VIR on a M3. If I was to go back to street tires this is what I would run. Pilot Sports...a close second. Tire Rack has a wealth of info too.
Sumitomo HTRZ III's for cheap performance.
