But I agree with the smaller groups who have stuck together for a while. They still make the meets fun.

Robbie, I think your car attracted the most attention out of the FT setup at the show. Except for the 200 lb hatch it was looking good. Can't wait to see your numbers once everything is sorted out.
Not sure where I am in this category either. I'm 35 and purchased my '05 brand new. I'm still learning about my Z and come into the Mid-A forum on occaision to see what's going on and if anything's happening near my area. But for the most part, I lurk around other parts of the forum for more technical advice or just to laugh at the stuff in the OT section. BTW, some of you guys do come off as rather "clique-ish" and it is frustrating to ask a question and get flamed by a 100 know-it-alls...

Everyone does know that there is an "ignore user" feature on this forum, correct? We've had this problem before with people getting upset with each other (i.e. dutch going to kill fuzzmaster - shayan LOL) and the "ignore user" feature helped some, so if you don't like someone just block them! Unless they took that feature down, I'm too much of a newb to remember anyway.

You're probably the most laid back person I know period man. Plus, maybe by venting some people will take a little more time to think about what they are going to post.

I dont think it has got to that point yet.

I hear that. I remember the only reason why I joined this place was beacuse I was putting Headders on my ride and when I finished, the car was acting crazy. I came here to ask a question and got the crap bashed out of me. I now know what caused the prob no thanks to Mid-A. So I understand what your saying dude. some of the guyz in her havent gotten laid in a while or suffer from ed so they're always pissed.

I don't give a God-damn what anyone on here thinks of me and you should all feel the same towards me, thats reality. Friend or fo who are you to judge others?

Age means absolutely nothing either, you can be 30yrs old and a total newb. It can work the other way around as well but a few bad eggs usually ruin it for everyone else.

I've met and hung out with some Mid-A'ers and had a great time everytime, the drama only happens on the boards and never in person so much. Things are alot diffrent face to face say something I don't like, go rite ahead!

I joined the forum back in '03, left for a good while after I sold my '03, and just this year jumped back into the action. Yes, things are markedly different: with more people, you get more crap. Of all the forums I have been a part of, this one has the highest amount of crap. But at the same time there are some remarkable members on here and can't thank them enough for their help.

What can you do, though?

Honestly, meeting people outside of the forum is key. When you actually socialize with other owners in person, the group gains more solidarity, and the level of maturity in other owners will start to rub off on you (amongst many other things ha). I really want to make it out to more meets, meet more members etc., so hopefully this summer I am more settled down than the past few months. If you meet someone in person they are less likely to be a cack on the forums after that, because then you can put a face to a name.

Just my .02. And enough with making useless threads (users will not be named). As you can tell, it pisses people off, as does post whoring.
