Default Sunroof FTW/FTL?

I've always wanted a car with a sunroof. Even my old POS Accord had a sunroof. After seeing 350Ricky's Z with the sunroof, it got me curious again. I have 3 concerns:

1. Does it leak at all?
2. Where would you mount the control buttons (perhaps the unused button next to the VDC/TSC off button)? I really want a stealth and OEM like look instead of having an extra button with wire handing out on the dash.
3. Any reputable in the area that does that? Car Toyz 2 offers that service?

Ricky can you post some pictures of how it looks like from the interior? Anyone else who has the experience in the area please jump in and give me some inputs. I'm really thinking about this before spring hits.

I saw a Z with one over the weekend and I thought it looked kinda funny. It wasn't curved at all and messed up the flow of the roof. My vote is no.

No, only because its not one that goes into the roof, it sits on top and when open its like a roof spoiler, so I dont like that.

I would assume it affects the structural integrity of the car. But hey you can buy a convertible Z so why not do a sunroof. I like it, go for it!! PICS!!

FTL, i had one in my two previous cars and never used it except when I opened it to keep the car a lil cooler when it was sitting in the sun.

I think you shouldn't do it.

nico forums say no.

The same problems will be had in the long run that are seen on the early Z's (240z, 260z, 280z) with the aftermarket sunroofs. They leak, rust around the roof, are hard to find parts for when things go wrong, etc.
So in short, don't do it. If you were looking for a lengthy response as to why, hopefully mine fit the bill.
but if you must

i think only spoiler sunroofs work on our cars
