I'll lend my slicks out, I wont swap wheels for you, or help you fix your car if you break it. I also hold no liability if you suck and crash into the wall. As long as thats clear to you guys, your good to go.

Will you spoonfeed me? Teach me how to drive? How about call my mommy if I wreck? LOL I don't know, this deal is starting to not sound so good if you won't do that stuff!

I didn't expect any of that anyway. I appreciate you just lending out the slicks!

I may take you up on it, I may not. I'm going to try it with street tires first and see how it goes.

I just wanted to clarify, Ive seen some pretty lazy people in situations where people help them. Like expecting others to swap theri wheels when lent to them.

I've never not been coming! I paid a long time ago, I still need to make a hotel reservation.

There's no way it could take that long for the car to get out of the shop... right? Its like 3 weeks away, I think all I'm gonna hve them do at this point is a front bumper

somewhere in this thread you mentioned not coming because the wife told you there was already plans for this day oh well glad I get to see this beast in action. And all depends on how long it takes for the new kit to come in, you can always throw on the stock

Why run if its not all out 100% of your ability? Thats just my thinking. Ive hit 1.67 60ft in low boost in less than 5 passes on those tires. 1.5's in it EASY with more seat time.

To anyone borrowing Bert's slicks... I'll have my truck there with a 2 ton floor jack, jack stands, and lug wrenches. Also, I'm going to see if I can borrow Kirk's cordless impact gun. Anyone is welcome to use the stuff as long as they put it back.

Wont be long now

I will also have a jack and jack stands at the track. And a few tools if needed.

And if someone wants to borrow my ET streets they are more than welcome to. I just need to hit 12's first

Looking forward to meeting the new faces and hanging out afterwards at cancun.

Later
Todd

I agree 100%. I'm trying to hit 12s and I know unless conditions are perfect I will need a 1.7 or better 60ft and thats not happening on street tires. If it comes to the point where you do drive the Z, I planned on taking the spare out and passenger seat so I could throw the slicks in the car and bring em up if u need.
