Damn I didn't realize Burke was that far away from sterling. You're right, for you it's about a hour and a half. Although I would still take the 7100-50-28-15-70 route. You be stuck in traffic for hours Taking 495 to 270.

It would still be worth though. It was a lot of fun when we had the Track night last september.

You'd be a good match up against Todd (Aceman) and John(Gooey)

Looks like a Stock 94 RT/10 runs in the low 13s or better.

Id say mid 12's with a decent driver is a good goal-def in the 12
s!. 13's in a Viper = leave the track the Snake lost its Venom and has a weaksauce bite.

Maybe with cerbal palsy behind the wheel

GOOD drivers have gone lower end of 12's @ 112-115mph

AVG is mid to high 12's @ 111-113

13's = the suck

This is 1st gens, newer Vipers are much faster. 1st gen times after a few minutes of searching varied from 12.3 to 12.8 that I have seen 111-117mph.

Well don't put too much pressure on him. Getting a decent 60' will be the key. 400 lbs of torque @ 2500 rpms means what ... a "launch" at 1500 rpms?

Im not putting pressure on anybody. 400ft/lbs at 2500rpms is @ WOT Karl, you forget you HAVE to control clutch and throttle in high hp cars. He could go 3/4 throttle and still nail 1.9 60ft's easy. I could run 2.0 60ft's launching my Z at idle NA. Anyways, hopefully he will make the trip to the track, he will leave a better driver than when he came.

well the thing is I've NEVER been to a track before, ha I've always wanted to, but was always too afraid of embarassing myself by wrecking or just screwing something up. I'm sure I would suck ***** my 1st time

Just baby it a few times down the track. Don't worry about f'n up. No one gets a clean pass everytime they go down the track. Out of the 20+ passes, I think only a 1/3 were considered relatively "clean".

It will be good experience b/c we'll have the track to ourselves i.e. No lines.

You wont wreck on street tires unless you dont use common sense. Trust me, most wobbles/scares happen on slicks at much higher speeds than 11X trap.

A private track day with friends is the way to learn. Nobody is there to laugh at you, only help you and line up against a Viper for fun

+1

We had some great video and ownage video. There's one of me against Shawna. She didn't get off the line for a good 2-3 seconds (not sure what happened). I f*cked up shifting into third and just said f*ck it and coasted the rest of the way. Whadya know, Shawna "reels" me in at the finish in made me look like an a$$.

That reminds me ... I want a rematch!

Cue the the Pinks BS talk ... "How many lengths are you going to give me?"

Can't wait to see the difference with slicks and JWT clutch/flywheel upgrade.

Oh I forgot you are gonna be running slicks and a new clutch/fw

I wish Shawna could get a clutch in that thing so I can put my slicks on it and run low 13's with 2 bolt-ons and slicks.

You can use my slicks for a few passes ... I don't plan on doing 20+ passes this time. We'll have plenty of time in between runs.

I was wondering what happened to you on that run. We had some good comments about that race on the sidelines.
