Just drop by and pick one up? Martinsville, VA is over 250 miles from Arlington.

If that price included install at the dealer, it might be worth the drive.

$1049, not too bad, thats still cheaper than alot of the online resources ive found.

by law they CANNOT void your warranty if you install it yourself.

Only time they can void a warranty is if the part you installed caused the damage, however since its a nismo exhaust there's nothing they can do about it unless its caused by user error on the install, its pretty straight forward, biggest thing to worry about would be smashing the jack into the side of the car.

Are you SET on Nismo Exhaust? Have you thought about anything else?

great question!

I didnt wanna get the typical BS flame reaction, so I wasnt going to ask the "which exhaust question."

But, since you ask.

I was leaning towards the Nismo because of all the good feedback on here, and it seems like its the most common for the Z.

Im not looking for anything too loud, I love the stock soundand dont want to lose that. I just want it a LITTLE more agressive and a LITTLE louder. Performance gains would be nice, but im not buying the exhaust primarily for that as I know there isnt much if any.

If you have any suggestions, fire away.

Im about 30 days out from making the purchase. Gotta love bonuses.

Have to say, the MID-A folks seem to be a little more mellow (in terms of slamming each other in the forum), thats nice.

Yeah, you're definitely in the right section on this forum

If you are looking for just a little more aggressive, the Nismo is a good choice. I'm a fan of loud, so I won't be able to help you much, because all I know is loud exhausts.

Tell me what you think of this sound, and we can work from there

Although that sounds good, its a little too loud for me. Like I said, I like the sound of stock, but i think its too subtle..

That clip sounded different from the stock sound. Good, but different.

Yup, everytime I think about researching other exhaust systems, it always comes back to Nismo.

Well, I'd just wait around for a while until you find a good deal, I can't justify spending 1000 on an exhaust I can get for 600 used

True, but how will they determine if you bought your exhaust new or used?
