Default Anyone have any good drives/things to do in the richmond area?

I want to take my lady out this weekend, well both my Z and my lady, I have been here a month now and dont know whats around here. I explored the goochland backroads some but I want to go somewhere interesting, I dont need a crazy backroad but a nice city/town to visit within 45 mins that has a decent drive along the way. Any ideas, we probably want a decent meal when we get there, any secret spots would be cool?

Took a few pics of older z32 this weekend in the goochland area while I was getting lost out there....

Route 33 West is a nice scenic drive. You can take it to Barboursville Vineyards and have lunch at the Palladio restaurant (gotta call for reservations), or just do a wine tasting. Right down the road is the Horton Vineyard.

ha thanks, yeah its rare to see me in that, still sitting on 88k miles for a 1990 Z. it needed a battery charge drive pretty much. That does look familiar though, nice cherokee.

You could drive rt.5 to williamsburg...it's a little longer than 45 minutes but is a nice relaxing drive none the less.
