my slips are at home, im at school now! so i dont remember the 60 ft! sorry

i sat and spun in 1st, 2nd i just eased it, third i mashed it so i slid a little and 4th chirped.

the first run i did was 18 seconds at 88 mph. :/ i just mashed the pedal through 4 gears, sat and spun, red lined, missed 3rd and chirped in 4th then took off. hahahahahaha noooo idea what i was doing!!!! still dont have that great of an idea but more practice over summer i suppose

 

Practice, practice, practice! I see your running KDW2's you should be able to get a descent launch on those. GL sir!

 

Hate to burst your bubble, but unless your tires are bald or you're putting 400hp+ to the wheels you're not going to be able to break traction (chirp) in 4th.

 

i was bout to say the same thing i was pushin 388 wheel with my procharger and couldnt get 4th to chirp i think your clutch was slippin

Hmmm, and by fourth gear you really should be through the trap or really close. 98mph is close to the top of third on a 3.5FD good points all around.

Yeah for me 3rd gear ends at 94 mph because I have 20 inch wheels. For someone with a 275/35/19 tire, 3rd tops out at 91 mph. Obviously this is only for non-revup VQs.



Revup with 7,000 rpm redline and 19 inch wheels.

 

20's are a killer, I feel your pain there. My 3.3 setup I could get 104mph in 3rd @ about 7100. Now with the 3.5FD I see maybe 96mph at the top of third 7000ish rpm's I haven't had it on the track yet with the 3.5 so we'll see if theres anything left in the old girl when I get a chance to run at Cecil again.

(my numbers are diffrent because of the auto, 5spd)

best on the 3.3FD was a 14.10 but still a 2.2 60' damnit! gotta practice more
