my car is totaled, is it possible to keep parts of the car, like the rims? or do they just take it all away?

That car is totalled as is, and you are reimbursed for the car as is. So the car belong to the insurance company oncve they write you a check. What you may be able to do is buy the salvage from the insurance company.

yeah!! 4 cars accident tonight on route 7 heading toward tysons before towlston. unfortunately i was one of them. Some stupid lady made a dead stop in the middle of the road on the left lane of route 7 so she could make a u-turn. no joke! dead stop in middle of route 7 while there were cars behind her. pretty trafficy time too, it was around 730pm. so 3 cars ahead of me slammed into each other i was the last one in that line. the worst part is she knows she caused the accident so she fled, no one got a chance to get the plate number. i'm soooo depressed, and mad, how can someone be so dumb and do something like that.
