I have an extended warranty, but I got it at a discounted price, since I was a repeat customer.

I love my extended warranty and have used it many times on my previous cars. Even if the dealer does not want to fix the car, if my car happens to break down on the road, towing is free and available, rental car is there, gas, hotel fees will be covered (if on a road trip.)
Gives you the extra security.
