Default What color to paint OEM 07 wheels?

So I told you guys about the idiot who messed up my wheels at firestone. So they are going to pay to have them fixed. I get an estimate today from Ye Olde wheel shop in Elkridge and find out they wont be able to match the color 100%. So I'm thinking 4 possible choices for a new paint color. close silver match, darker silver/gunmetal, gloss black, or flat black. What do you think?

Edit: The car color is silverstone.

flat black looks clean as hell, and gunmetal looks very sporty. I would have a hard time picking between the two, but would lean towards gunmetal.

Look for some pics of the painted 06/07 OEM wheels. I am not a big fan of the powder coating on them, but if you are up for it, go with silver/gunmetal.

Flat black starts to look like brown with the slightest brake dust build up. go with gloss black or stain if it's an option.

F that... if they cant be fixed back to stock make them replace them. Then paint the old ones and have them as winter wheels or something to bang around in. I wouldnt settle for less.... but thats just me.

Hmmmmmm. I never expected gunmetal to rank that high. I am going to black out the tailights and headlights so black is a nice choice but I may work with the painter and see about a custom color. Something thats almost black but has some pearl or metallic flake in it. Since I am not paying for it, I might as well get creative.

Thats a good thought and was my original thought but because I dont want to have to deal with the corporate office and deal with all the BS I may just settle for the painted option. We will see, everything is still up in the air right now.

F--- paint! Have them polished or powder coated! Paint rubs off!

Hell.....I would have them give me the cost of what a OEM rim is and take that money and buy 2 aftermarket ones. Then I only have to pony up for 2 rims out of my own pocket......just my 2 cents.
