However, there was a kid last year from SP High... he stole a shotgun, raided around 10 homes, and stole everything he could in an hour and then got arrested. haha I hear he is out now.

Village of Marlboro isn't a place to live. R u looking at those condo at John roger blvd or lord landing rd ?? If so, they ain't bad at all. I saw couple of Z in the park lot sometime. Just dont dare to speed on the road from the court house to John Roger blvd. In fact, i think it is the best condo u could rent in Upper Marlboro. However, if you have the option to purchase, buy a town house in Peach Tree community instead. It is newly developed community in between bowie and waldolf by 301(Crain hwy). BTW, I am living in Upper Marlboro!!

Yeah its right off of John Rogers, its your first left, on Farnsworth. That little set, I think its Normandy Place or something like that. I drove by the place today and it didn't seem too bad.

They're very nice. I looked at buying a condo there a few years back.

Think of it this way, you love peanuts, and you see a pile of **** on the side of the road, you can see a peanut in the middle of that pile, do you A keep on driving, or B dig though all the **** so you can get to that peanut you like.

Yup, those condos are very nice but its in the middle of PG county.

severna park is expensive though. You have to have dual incomes to live there and both people probably have to make 80k+ just to survive. Seems like all the houses they are building everywhere now start at least 500k. With mortgages for those houses at around $4500 a month (est.) How do people do it? (I think the average combined household income in Anne Arundel county is about $86000 by the way)

Single family homes in SP are expensive, then again single family homes in most parts of maryland are expensive. Step right outside of SP and you can find a place called glen burnie, severn, hell go up north and you have brokllyn park, all areas right next to SP that are pretty cheap.

I think his best bet would be Bowie (pg) or Crofton/Odenton (aa)

I went to the apartment today. I waited outside for 45 minutes as the guy kept calling me asking for 10 more minutes. I left before I lost it. My stress level has tripled each day for the past 2 weeks. I have 2 weeks to be moved out of my house...

Condo or Apartment?

Why don't you check out some of the apartments. You can get them with garages and you can sign for random times to stay.

3-6-9-12-18-24mo

Stop getting worried, move to a place you think you'd like and from there look around for houses/condos.

http://www.apartments.com/Maryland

That's what I'd do.

Well, I put in for an apartment right off of the GW Parkway over here in VA. That will cut my commute down to about 15 miles one way. The area is really nice though. Its right next to Belle Haven Country Club, which I'm going to apply for a part time job there (make a little extra cash, and golf for free!!!!).

Hopefully all ends well

yeah, crofton doesn't look too bad. Even in Severn, I was seeing new homes being built that start at 490k

Didn't read all the responses to the OP but have you considered Howard County? It's not that expensive, plenty of Z owners around and the HoCo police are usually lurking somewhere closeby at all times...
