!! April 26 Car-b-q!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello all. On April 26 I have the privilege of having the hook up at MBC. That’s McLean Bible Church. I don’t know if you all know this church but its one of the biggest in the area. They have a huge parking deck that they often release for car events. They had and auto cross there one time and host about 3 car shows annually for various charity events.

Well I was talking smack and told someone that I can easily get 20 cars to show up for display. (now don’t let me down…lol). This is scheduled from 1130 til 2ish on Saturday April the 26th.I have about 200 spots reserverd!! Yes the parking lot is that big. Famous Dave’s (I am awaiting the lowest bidder) will be serving lunch. Unlike the FunctionT meet the lunch will be $15 bucks Famous Dave’s, you know the portions are plentiful and the BBQ is outstanding. Pulled Pork and Pulled Chicken (for my Eastern Brothas and Sistas) Potata' Salad, Coleslaw, and BBQ baked beans. I believe one water and one soda comes with the lunch also...TBD

The local Supra club should have a few cars there along with some Ferrari’s, a possible Formula One car, Porsche, Austin Martins, etc. This is a trail run to see how things go, especially from my end of the deal. I will have my 05 Infiniti Coupe and my 77 Buick Electra on display. Maybe the wife’s 06 Jetta GLI. My cars are not HIN quality; this is just a bunch of locals car guys and gals hanging out. Lunch is not required, but 15 buck is required to eat. lol, but the EVENT IS TOTALLY 100% FREE, but I AINT SHARING MY BBQ.

So come hang out at the upper deck of the massive garage at MBC. If all goes well this could easily become a regular, legal spot of us to hang out. I met PowerShift2024.org at a Porsche autocross event and they are just as fired up about cars as I, so I joined their team.

This is just west of Tyson’s Corner Mall on route 7:@
8925 Leesburg Pike
Vienna, VA 22182

I mentioned in another thread that LEK and I had something up our sleeves…well a hint is…. We will be filming at this event along with a few other goodies and events…post coming soon!
G35Driver Link...
http://g35driver.com/forums/showthre...=1#post2884779

Please indicate if you are coming, and if you want lunch. Again lunch is not required, but you will wish you did. Lunch starts at noon! Be ontime!
If you want to come just copy and past the link into your reply thread like so…

Name......y/n lunch(number of meals).....car make......car model....color

I will set up something, but the money goes to Powershift and they are tax free, etc. so I may have to just set up a paypal and bare the nightmare of cancellations and fees on my own. But to eat BBQ with my brothas and mamasitas...its worth it.. LOL. I will see about a paypal account today.

That's why paying in advance rocks! If anyone ends up not going, just keep their money and donate it anyway.

I agree but the funny thing is, now that I drive 60mph with the cruise on. I appear to be invisible to them....lol

I dont know why 81mph always gets me pulled over...

Well I made it from my house (DC area) to Pitt in about 3 hours. I was rolling 80 though, so about 3.5 at the speed limit. You can take I81S then I66E to avoid all traffic. If you make the trip, lunch is on GZILLA, just let me know so I can reserve you a plate of HOT BBQ! Ummm mmm.

PM me if you want the best route.

Trip distance: 237.27 miles Time: 4 hrs 4 mins According to Yahoo maps...

Divide by 70mph and its about 3 and some change.
