It's really shitty that someone would act this way. I know from experience that the Mid-A is a tight family and more than understanding if a situation comes up and you gotta change plans on a deal. All it takes is a phone call or an email. Not hard at all really.

Hopefully this gets resolved without the need for a manhunt.

I just received a text from him (after another phone call from me) and he apparently works till 7 this week. He said he will meet me to drop them off and bring the money as promised.

Hopefully it all works out. Ill keep everyone posted.

Sorry to bust in on your Mid-A thread, but as another Marine, I felt I had to say something.

If this guy is truly a Marine, and your story is true (sorry, I have no way of knowing you, or anyone else here, so I automatically assume most things on the internet are in some way false or exagerated), find out the phone number of his senior enlisted (or Commanding Officer, if this guy is an officer), and give him a call. The senior enlisted (1st Sgt, SgtMaj, etc...) won't necessarily take your story at face value, but he will definitley call this guy into his office for a little chat. Maybe some "wall to wall counselling" as we like to call it...

Either way, after that chat, I doubt there will be any future problems in getting your wheels back.
