I'm putting the dash kit on my car for my D-3(didn't have one when I installed it) and I need to modify the brackets to make it sit flush.

I own a dremel, its just in MS with all my other stuff and I don't really want to buy another one just to do this one thing.

Would take like 30-45 min total, I just need to make some holes bigger to give me some more adjustment.

Its installed already, there is just a 1/4 gap where the kit goes. I know the bracket will need to be worked on just a bit to make the top tilt forward just a bit more. I can eyeball it and tell that it won't sit quite right.

 

hmm hehe alright let me know how it goes. And if you cant fix it bring it to us, we'll be glad to take a look at it.

 

There isn't much on a car I can't fix/do. If I can take it apart I can put it back together.


But I always seem to have extra parts and screws when I do that.......

I thought about just putting in on...but then when I found someone with a dremel I would have to take it all apart again. It is kind of a pain to do.
