ECU Tuning in the Mid-Atlantic Area
Ask what the reflash does. Ask specific questions, not just "will I get more power". Do your research and ask what parameters get changed. Ask what benefits you will get out of it. What if...I change this...or I add this...what will it do (exhaust...spacer...TP's...intake...)?
Can anyone who is promoting the "reflash" answer any of these questions?

He then went on to get offended at me and told us they would never consider selling UPREV products to us..Simply for asking him questions..
After telling me he had a network of worlwide dealers, yet presented none of them to me..
I asked simple questions, but their forum rep could not answer them..Then he proceeded to call my shop to ask for the owner, lol, me..To tell me he had a problem with one of my salesmen, lol ME...He reufsed to identify himself, and only said his name was RICH, from Cali...I hung up on him..
Class act salesman techniqes there RICH, or can I call him DICK..lolThis is how they treated a potnetial client of their product, that they wanted over $7500 to buy in, and could not even answer these simple questions and give me examples or contacts to verify their products and sales numbers prior to making the investment..
IMHO reflashes are money making products for software developers, and tuning shops..Be prepaired to pay well over $1000 for a custome "refash" when all is said and done..
i have even heard of shops selling people reflahsed with UTECs...WTF is that all about??

I did a Techno reflash back in the day. 9whp and 12ft/lbs PEAK on a Dynojet. Car made much more power midrange and I trapped 2mph faster down the track.
I sent them the old dyno with A/F charts and afterwords the A/F was -------- at 13:1, I Was amazed how right on they seemed to get it done.
Send them a dyno and have them do it. They do more reflashes than anybody.
And for all you AAM nuthuggers, show me one guy with their products who has trapped 107mph with bolt-ons and a flash by Mike....back up what you say dont just jump the newb bandwagon and recommend a shop you have no experience with other than ordering plenum spacers from.

JK man haha can't wait to be famous!!
I have heard that the spacer still shows gains on the 2006, and I definitely feel something at higher RPMS. I am not going FI for at least 4 years ( I may have a 370z by then
) But for now, I just want a smoother powerband, more torque, a few hp...from what I know, a flash can do this for me..
Julian, sorry I'm not familiar with the Cobb AP..? I guess I'll do a search
The reason I'm asking about a reflash is because I am coming from turbo cars where a reflash works wonders. However, I know it's mostly due to upping the boost safely with timing and A/F. I have heard its similar for our Z's (but on a smaller N/A scale obviously)
I dunno about anyone else, but my car runs rich as hell...a full day of driving after washing my car, the exhaust tips are coated in soot (although this could be an O2 sensor or MAF)
