I would let either of my sons, and even my daughter, race at that age. (My youngest is 7.) I know things like these have risks, but I don't want dress my children in bubble-wrap and teach them to avoid all risk.

This is very sad. But it's also rare, compared to the experience and skill that these kids have an opportunity to gain on a regular basis. If any of my kids take an interest in motorcycles, I would want them to learn as much as they can on a track.

I might even worry every time they go out on course, but that's part of my job as a parent. I worry; they have fun, and hopefully learn something in the process.

We lead in starting our kids out on junk food, no exercise, and happy meals...

13 is way too young, however he died doing what he loved the most. He was doing it legally, it wasnt his fault, and an honest to God accident.

No words can aid the family thats credit worthy, but I wish them peace in knowing they let there son live his life to the fullest and how he wanted to.

RIP little brother
