Tire mounting/balancing locations?
I need some wheels and tires mounted and balanced. I already have a place to go to, but are there any other places in the Baltimore area that can do a good job and wont damage my new rims?
Basically looking for a respectable place.
Thanks.

I just got back from YOWS, went there on my lunch break.
Had some new meat installed in the rear. My lips are painted and they take great care in not damaging them. They put a plastic guard on the lips and then reverse mount them if needed. They are on Rt 1 in Elkridge.

Yeah the local "tire" stores around my area are all around the $30 a tire range, but I really would not trust them mounting painted/powdercoated wheels.

Ok, thanks. I finished talking with someone, I think it was Dan because I've been there before and recognized his voice.
I will be going there when my front tires come in.
Thanks!

I think i'm going to give yows a shot at putting my tires on, just afraid to have my new wheels messed up. But after reading the procedures they take to mount, i'm pretty comfortable

My fronts are supposed to come in tomorrow, UPS delayed, and I will most likely drop them off in the afternoon, or Friday morning.
And yes, Keith had a respectable shop, but he's at a different place, so he cannot rep it just yet.
YOWS is the only place I trust with any rims/tires
when I had the Fully Polished S1's they mounted the tires on them without one blemish, and if you know how polished wheels are you know it would have been easy to mark them up...SS if you are there this afternoon I may see you, I'll be getting the tires for my daily put on today...
