Exclamation 2006 slave cylinder issues

So searching threads i can only find the 07 recalls. My car now has 38k on it and on days when its 80+ outside and i drive my car longer than 20min.My clutch pedle starts to get mushy, the release feels weak and i have to really ride it out from a stop to get it going smooth. From there it just gets worse, shifting is rough, and then the pedle will only come back up half way and then "pop" up.*i have never had any problems with the clutch sticking to the floor*

If i let it sit for a few minutes and get back in-its fine, then the cycle starts over, unless its cool out and then its perfect..I took it to Nissan and they could not duplicate, has anyone else had this problem??.Everyone i've talked to has said to get an aftermarket clutch installed-which i would love to do-but i dont have a grand to dump into it right now.

2006 base.

I would say that your clutch is old already and that you need a new one. Not a slave cylinder.

might have something to do with the flat foot shifting youve been doing in the car since you got it im surprised its held this long lol. no room to talk though since im in the same boat with my sti just taking it easy on her till clutch is affordable.

I have never heard of clutch disc having an intermitted problem,i had to replace the clutch in two of my previouse cars-and the problems were completely differant. This is a hydrolic pressure problem- i am sure of it.

I have the same problem. Once clutch is warmed up, when I try moving my car from a stop, my car shakes like a ***** in first gear. Dealership checked the clutch and it was in good condition. BTW i have a 05 Enth.

i had the exact same problem as you along with the clutch pedal getting stuck on the floor during rush hour/traffic and hot weather. i had to take it to the dealership twice since it only happens when stuck in traffic/hot weather. dealer replaced it under warranty after the tech drove it and stalled in traffic for no reason. no problem over here since then.

WOW glad someone else posted this, just this past weekend my clutch pedal would get stuck halfway in 1-2 and 2-3 gear. I was like WTF and no it's not old clutch... brand new carbonetics in there. Today it was good so far

dealer replaced master and slave cylinder under warranty. i dont think clutches are covered under warranty, arent they a wear/tear item?

Bleed the clutch fluid, see if that helps, might just be air in the line.

I got the same problem as well. It is now at the dealership ready to change slave cylinder. I also got 54k on it now so warranty is void since it is a 3 year or 36k miles base warranty. They don't consider that as powertrain warranty. Will give updates after replacement. But at the same time they are telling me that the trans might have gone bad as well, which I don't understand because I just replaced it 10k miles ago. If you feel the clutch pedal spongy and your car has less than 36k or 3 years on it you might want to take it in for a checkup or else you will end up paying for it.

Ex2cinaZ, my clutch does the same thing, when i rev above 5 grand or rev to about 6500 it sticks. i cant go to a drag strip because when i have to burnout to get my tires hot for grip my clutch starts to suck to the floor and stick until i let off the gas.....any ideas?? slave cylinder maybe?
