yeah its ridiculous amounts of damage for what it was. but read this:
I went to their house today to talk to them about how paying for the damage. As im pulling in, i notice the girl pulling out of her driveway. I saw to myself "sht! shes prolly gonna hit me again..." so i drove to the other side of the road and parked on the edge of the culvasack. So... this girl pulls out of the driveway... backs up.... baaacks up. SMASH! Backs right into the neighbors mailbox. Lol. The mailbox put a scratch on the car starting with the trunk ending at the roof. lol.
Shows you what kind of people have licenses.

OMG. I can't believe she tried to deny that s**t. Its not exactly a nick. Then again with that amount of damage she was probably scared s**tless. Thats why I advocate special roads and parking spots for people who care about their cars. We need legislation.

Sorry to hear about your car. We are in the process of moving down to Maryland and we got a nice welcome gift from someone. The same thing happened to me just recently with my wife's G35. Someone hit it 2x! First on the rear driver's side quarterpanel (huge dent and took off a bunch of paint) and rode that into the bumper and then proceeded to hit the rear bumper in a different spot. No note of course.

Stupid insurance company is giving me crap about it saying I need to file 2 claims and not 1. What a bunch of theives. Anyway, good luck to you and hopefully your car get fixed better than before.

Even if they go through insurance, just get them to write you a check for the repair cost and take it to a shop of you choice with the parts of you choice.
