I do believe it depends a lot on what you drive, how you drive and what you look like (age wise). When I was living in SoCal I never had any problems. I drove this FD. It was loud, smoky and threw 8 ft long fire ***** out of the exhaust along with a 1000 db exhaust note with 5% tint. I used to go to one of the most popular canyon roads (where the CHP hang out a lot) and have my fun. Never got stopped. My brother drove an STi, pretty much the same way as my FD, he never got stopped either. I don't because I had my military stickers and had out of state plates though.

Yes, and also having sex in any other positions other than missionary without the lights turned off is too. Absurd but true indeed.

from what I understand, most engine mods done to cars in the aftermarket are considered illegal, I always thought it was because of emissions , hence factory turbo cars are ok, because nothing has been modified.(if left stock).. maybe someone that knows that law can chime in


Thing is with cops at least in this area, they always go after imports.... they never go after muscle/ american sports cars .even the ones with bis a$$ cams. pretty raw deal for you guys....

my car stinks bad, and I have had cops behind me, never been pulled over... to many ricers in rockville give you guys that actully mod tastefully a bad rep

 

And Harley bikes get left alone, those bikes are crazy loud

 

And all the American muscle cars get left alone too.

 

We should debadge and put a chevy or ford symbol on our cars so we get left alone =)

IT IS HIGHLY ILLEGAL FOR AN OFFICER TO SEARCH A CAR WITHOUT PROBABLY CAUSE..DRIVING IS NOT PROBABLE CAUSE>> HEARING YOUR RICER BLOW OFF VALVE and EXHAUST FROM A MILE AWAY IS (could be depending).

but even then, you dont have to do or say anything witout a lawyer. The best thing to do is to SHUT THE HELL UP, and say sorry sir my lawyer is not present. He will get tired of that line and give you a ticket or send you home. You got pulled over anyways, so you expected a ticket, why talk yourself into 5 more tickets...?

Vortech Superchargers are 50 state carb legal, they put downt from 330-380 to the wheels (revup non revup and pulley size dependant)...thats like 440 crank hps...Stillen also...big power equals big problems
