Default Yet another license plate ticket

It was bound to happen. I am guessing these cops are getting more and more petty as the budget crisis continues to cripple our roadways. Anyways, I was going 267 west towards Reston to get some Ice Berry when home boy decides to wait on the side of the road for me. I was literally 1/8 of a mile away from the exit when he decided to flash his lights.

Good news is that I can have the ticket waved if I get it fixed and show proof at the summon. I want to keep the car looking clean so I really don't want to drill into the bumper. I believe Stillen makes a holder that goes into the tow tap. You better believe my asian *** isn't going to pay $65 for it. Home DEPOT FTW!

Thing to take away from this: Everybody will get caught eventually.

Every thread needs at least one picture.

Show proof at the summon? Would a photo do? If so, just get one of the photoshop guru here to photoshop it for you.

I was going 267...
You're lucky you didn't get a ticket for 202 miles an hour over the limit!

Are there any shops around here that sell these 'zee-brackets'. I found a few places on line, but I rather get this taken care of now before I forget. Thanks.

Wahhhhh

I got a front tag ticket a few weeks ago, the officer hit his lights, I told the GF welp I'm getting a ticket for my front tag, the officer came up and said yada yada yada no front tag. I told him, I had no intention to put the tag on, he handed me a ticket I signed it and said have a nice day. we both went our ways.

Law states you must display a front tag, do I like the law? no, but it is the law and if I get a ticket for not showing my front tag. who cares. its my own fault.

I'm sure I'll get another one soon enough, thats how it goes. I might make a custom tag bracket that bolts to the rad support, that can easily be detached for when doing photoshoots or Z meets. but that's on the back burner I really dont care that much.

If you must get the ticket signed off for in order to get it cleared, just take some bolts and cut the threads off, glue them or tape them to your top tag holes, then line the back of the tag with a strip of felt, drive to where you need to get the car signed off, stick double sided tape on the tag, place it on the bumper, get it signed off, drive 50 feet down the street, get out, remove the tag, and be on your way.

done.

These tickets seem to be easy to get out of....but is it worth a day in court? That remains up to the person. as long as work will still pay you....go to court!

Be like Mike and hook the front plate on the tow hook. It looks sorta JDM like that anyway. Btw, 0 ticket on no front plate and I've been running without one for 2+ years. *Knock on woooooooood*
