So the other day i was changing the oil in the car and was waiting for it to drain. i was just standing there looking at the top plenum and the hose that goes into the battery compartment and decide to pull it off the plenum and then again off of the peice that goes to the inside of the battery cover and hiisssss it went i guess there is like a check valve or something in there i dont know. i posted this in the intake and exhaust but no one has chimmed in. any one know what it is? only thing i can think of is its for the climate control or something.

 

Thats the power brake booster vacumn hose.

 

thanks man i was wondering cuz when i pulled it off it hiissed real loud kinda caught me off gaurd a lil bit

 

sounds like it could be the washer fluid line, it has a check valve and is tucked up under battery cover

 

Sorry but a washer fluid line dosent hiss when you pull it off.

 

yea its def not the washer fluid line, i agree with it beign the vacuum hose for the brakes i never even thought bout that, plus this is the MID-A not texas
