we missed the bear...I'm gonna hear it for that one, but it was late enough when we got home because I took the long way back through S-D again.
anyhow here are my pictures and again thanks David for organizing, maybe next time I'll have a better setup for the fun stuff:
some personal ones like my newly wingless 6mt-coupe:
and to put a face to a name and screen name, I'm the dude and she's my fiance:
here's more i left out a couple of pictures.
Also of note, on my way back through S-D I saw an all black Lotus Exige stepping on it and a huge winged Boxster and a nice late 80's 911-T. On my way home I spent some time on 95 playing lane change games with a CSL-clone M3, thing was gourgess, the seats alone were worth more than my previous car (240SX).

^Dude I'M Going to hear it for not seeing the girls in the Mercedes, forget the bear! hahaha
I had an AWESOME time everyone, and thanks mucho to Dave for organizing it. You are a cool dude. Too bad I had to leave early, but I had to work, and I just made it in time last night.
I'm loading up all my pix and video I got yesterday, so I'll go ahead and put it together in a nice film and post it in a new thread with a link in this one.
Hope to see all you guys again soon.

Great great turnout guys. It was nice seeing some new Zs and Gs I hadn't seen before yesterday. Sucks I couldn't go further than 211 but during football season it's skins>Z for me.
If you're talking about the girls in the mercedes at the entrance to the park they were also at our last stop before 211. They were having some sort of cookout/picnic in the grass next to where everyone was standing.

This drive was great. Finally made it to Wayside restaurant after sitting in the backed up traffic for 40mins. I took photos of the bear up the tree that everyone was gawking at (the cause of the jam). It was incredible - people with their kids at the bottom of the tree looking up at the bear taking photos. I wondered what would happen if that bear had climbed down.
Hope everyone got home safe. Cruising down 66 has never been so much fun.
Cheers for organizing this David.
Got home at 7:45pm and the wife had a beer waiting.
Will post pics soon.

Hey guys. I was the lone red car in the pack. Just wanted to say thanks to everybody, especially David, for making my first Skyline cruise a great one. Can't wait for spring.

Had a blast!!!
To all the first timers on this trip............don't be turned off from the Skyline cruise 'cause of the traffic. It's not normally like this. Give it another shot in the spring. It'll be a lot less crowded cause all the "leafers" won't be out with us. And you can get some serious high speed curveage going on!!

Do you go to Mt Vernon? I think I've met you before, and you knew my little brother (Weston). Remember that one time at Game Crazy I rolled through and revved like a Ricer? That was me....

We want to say Thanks to ALL for a great time.... the wife and I had a great time meeting everyone...to the two guys who commented on the chrome rims and tribal art....I had to laugh while I sit here looking at the four trophes we have won in the past 14 months in various car shows for: Best in Show...1st Place Import...2nd Place Best Ricer...and 1st Place Mild & Wild...maybe they will have a brain fart one day to improve their rides....see you all soon
