looks like this. in perfect condition. the pic doesnt do justice. just imagine it being black until the car is turned on and then matching the defi gauges perfectly.

Cool part is that they do the same "opening ceremony" as the Defi gauges ... because they're actually made by Defi

so i have been reading up on the cobb accessport and it seems as it comes with two flashes the stage 2 is for the aftermarket stuff but what is the stage 1 for? and from what i see its a simple task of loading the flash and such i used hptuner on the sunfire to get it tuned in with the turbo this looks alot easier then that

You can use stage 1 with no mods, it's just a retune of the stock params. Stage two is for when you have an up/down pipe and TBE.

Awesome ... good luck. Feel free to PM me with any questions, I've owned subaru's since 2001 and tracked/auto-x'd my STI quite a bit.

You should be fine, just watch for boost creep at WOT in 4th without the AccessPORT reflash.

You're good, it should taper off a bit toward red line - maybe down to 12 or so. If you see it continue building toward red line to say 16-17, you need to back off.

Once you get the Stage 2 reflash, boost will hit quicker and last longer and probably peak near 18PSI. Once you approach 19.5 and beyond, you're out of the thermal efficiency range of the stock turbo and losing more power than you're making as a result.
