Default Need help/advice/insight on tranny

So withing the last week or two Ive noticed that sometimes when I go to turn the key to the start the car and nothing happens. Theres no click or tick or flicker on the lights. Its like trying to turn your car on without pressing the clutch in. I was thinking maybe some sort of clutch activation system where it doesnt realized the clucth is engagaed?

Does anybody else have some insight into the problem?

Thanks

Tom

2 things.. Starter is going... or the clutch safety switch. There is a small switch that when the clutch is depressed allows the car to turn over. I'm not sure how much it is.. but its not a complex part, and not likely to fail....

... I'd start looking for a starter.

I always push in that clutch safety switch with my shoe since my clutch is so stiff its so much easier.

You can rewire it so you don't need to press anything. I know you with your fragile legs, don't want to bruise them.

I didnt think it was the starter. For the most part with past experience Ive usually noticed some kinda tick or a drop in voltage if it was starter. Not saying it couldnt be the starter but just seems liek something more to do with clutch/tranny/sensor issue.
