Widebody Z install pics
Here's some pics of the Z my freind is working on. It's a 04? and the kit is a Veilside knock off I beleive. The fitment is not too bad, I've seen much worse. Both the front and rear flares will be molded in when done.
Stock wheels FTL he's looking at a set of Foose wheels
Watch out for the civic next to it, it's an 11 sec car. It has a boosted SOHC and the white 240sx next to it has a Q45 V8

Fiberglass work... I tremble with past memories of a molded body kit and the cracks and the 40,000.00 in 1 year of repair work. Repsectfully decline any fiberglass work that isn't on the inside of the car. Never again will I mold anything that sees drive time on the street. It will look nice for a month and then a rock chip or a blown tire scrap and there goes the whole side skirt or fender flare.
Why bother? Rather have something that you can replace paint and bolt on with out weeks and weeks of man hours to pay for. Everyone has to learn that lesson though I guess...

It will look like the red 350 above. AAM did that car while I was their and the paint and body work on that car is sick. Had I not seen Serge's finished kit I would not be sure about the kit but done right it looks awsome. I'm not sold on Foose wheels either and I'm trying to convince him on some Works or Weds. He's planing on selling the car so he doesn't want to put too much into the wheels but I told him the right set would be worth it. It will need some pretty agressive offset wheels which can get $$$$. As for molding the kit in if done right it holds up alot better. The trick is the use fiberglass resin and matting then top it with filler. Alot of shops just use filler which is not strong enough. You can see in the on pic of the drivers side front it has just fiber glass resin and matting while the other side has filler already. He's done some sick cars I'll see if I can dig up the pics. He and his wife both has "his and hers" Supra's. Back when the Supra WAS king they would get mobbed every where they took them.

I'll keep it updated with pics through the process. I'll see if he has some before pics. Here's a pic I took awhile back of some of his fleet
Blue Supra - built engine T66 turbo & NOS
Civic - built engine T3/T4 turbo & NOS
Silver Supra - NA to turbo conversion and 60-1 turbo
Miata - built engine CT26 turbo
Feriro - LT1 V8 conversion
not pictured an old ford street rod truck that will have twin GT40's
