Default Mid-A Beaters/2nd Cars/Daily Drivers: What's Yours?

Winter is rolling around and I was curious to what everyone had for a beater. I noticed there's a large influx of new Z owners and perhaps this is a good opportunity for them to see what type of cars out there are good options for beaters while our Z's are garaged for the winter (yes... we ALL know what happens when snow hits the ground around here) Share your stories/pictures/comments and of course.. if you rice it out, list the mods!

I'll go ahead and start:
2000 Subaru 2.5 RS AWD

The Secret Weapon:

- Bilstein PSS9s
- WRX 20mm rear sway bar
- Whiteline Heavy Duty rear sway bar end links
- Tribeca 25mm front sway bar
- Kartboy front end links
- STI Exhaust
- JDM Rear Tail lights
- JDM Clear Corners
- JDM Rear Spats
- VIS Carbon Fiber Hood
- Rota Tarmac II's
- Cusco Front & Rear strut bars

Comments:
So far I can't seem to break traction! It handles 2x better than the Z and weighs 300-400lbs less equipped with a super-handling AWD system. I've done most of the weight reduction on it already shedding off roughly 100lbs from stock weighing at roughly 2750lbs now. It's a great daily driver, I get about 25/35 mixed driving. Bad weather has absolutely no effect on this thing, it'll drive as if it was completely dry out. (Can't say the same for the tail-happy Z! Then again, mine also has twin turbos so any blip of the throttle sends me flying in all sorts of directions)

Overall, great beater for anyone looking at something cheap and affordable. I'd highly recommend one of these!

2005 Scion xB. It's obviously a FWD. It comes with all season tires, super JDM stickers on both doors, single DIN headunit that plays mp3 and less than 100 HP. You can literally put a full size mattress in the back with the backseats down. This car does well over 30mpg on REGULAR gas on both highway and local road. Highly recommended!

05' Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7 V-8
Black on black, 20% tint, HID's, and Weathertech mats in it. I try to keep the modding simple and reliable for the DD. I expect it to last me a longggg time. Its towed my Z down to GA I love Jeeps.

BTW-rice king my friend has an 01' 2.5RS, with some basic weight reduction we got it down to 2660lbs, yours seems heavy. He's run 14.8 @ 90mph in that thing with bolt-ons, compared to most other 2.5's thats over .5 faster....

2008 Silver Honda Accord 4 door LX 5-speed manual. Going to add 20% tint all around whenever I get to it. Other than that it's going to stay stock and last me a long time.

Wow, those cars are light. Nice 1/4 mile times.

Anh, sounds like no one is going to be able to keep up with you in the turns now. Light car, good suspension mods, and awd. Nice combination. ( can I get a ride sometime through your neighborhood)

08 Nismo Frontier 4x4. Completely stock except for added 2" rear receiver. 19 mpg on a good day but I'm betting on not getting stuck this winter.
