Default Hall Nissan... Hurting!!!

Just want to put this out there if any one is looking to upgrade your Z. I went to Hall Nissan today to get my oil done on my truck and I was looking around at their 350Z. I was talking to sale manager about I was thinking about getting another sports car and that I was considering a Z or a S2000. Not even 2 minutes into the conversation the sale manager offers me any Z for $500 under invoice not MSRP. That they are hurting for sales and they need to make some sales fast. So if you are considering to upgrade I would go there.

Just though I would share. BTW they even offer me a brand new GTR on red that siting in the show room for $80k.

Most all dealers are hurting bad as i have just hired an ASE master tech for part time as his carmax dealership dosent have any work.It is predicted that by the end of this year more then 2000 dealerships will close and i have allready seen 4 dealers go under in the last month in the baltimore area.

This dosent include the 6 that shut down last year and it will get worse.

I don't think Hall would go under. They are the largest dealer on my area. I think they are trying to push older models out. They do have a lot of Z in stock which is unusual for them to have. The problem they are all Auto except the Nismos model.

Just looking at my options. I wanted to see how much better the 08 is compared to my old 04. I didn't get to drive it so I still don't know. Even though they offer me to take one of the auto for a 24 hrs test drive.

The sales side of dealerships will be hurting for awhile but the service should be great since people are now willing to put money into their cars to keep them on the road.

sales down, service up, sales up, service down...
