Default Shop Review: Hills Garage

I went to Hills Garage today to have my smoking car looked at. I didn't know what to expect at first and went there with an open mind. I called ahead to atleast let Frank know that I was on my way and his wife answered and told me to come right in. Shortly after I arrived, Frank took my car into the shop and began looking at the car. He was nothing short of helpful and polite to me. He explained things to me and encourged questions to be asked. He did not charge me for the diagnostic work on the car as it is his policy from my understanding. When he was done looking at the car, he went over everything in detail so I understood what the problem was and what the next measure to be taken should be.

I strongly encourage anyone in the DC metro area to atleast drop by, talk to him and maybe even give him a try. My trip there today was absolutely pleasant and I highly reccomend the shop to anyone.

And just for anyone who would ask or post it... I WAS NOT ASKED TO WRITE THIS REVIEW.

PM me with any questions. and please keep this thread on topic!

I have not yet been to the shop or talked to Frank, but I have been talking to his wife Suzanne about doing work for them. Between the e mails, and phone calls she is very polite and easy to work with. Can't wait to get up to the shop this Friday check it out and do business with them.

Thanks for dropping my info to them Nick.

Frank is the man!!! Since I am in PA its not all that easy to drive all the way to F:T when I need some work done. Its been great to have only an hour away and he always makes time to answer questions and go over all your options, he even understands that money can be a factor in when or how something gets fixed.

I can't thank Frank enough for giving me guidance with my build and most importantly, keeping me from going BOOM. Anyone that needs mechanical work and is north of D.C. should check out his shop.

Tire installs for sure. He was balancing a customer last time I was down there. Not sure on the alignmant.

my oem hood is still at his shop!!
Is that the one with the dent in the top? OUCH!!

My motor is in 3 or 4 boxes in the back, and the block is on a trash can lid by the lift, and some pieces up in the loft, and a few on the workbench as well.
