Default Protecting Wheels against Winter!

Hey everyone. Yep, I'm the idoit that didn't keep his stock wheels to put on in the winter. I have the Nismo Rays 19's on my car and wanted to know if anyone has any tips to protect the wheels before the road salt tears them up. I was hoping to find some sort of Road Salt repellent spray! haha

Im not sure, but you could just try putting a nice coat of wax on them... and make sure you take care of the wheels... IE: EVERYTIME it snows and you are forced to drive, clean them ASAP.

Wheel wax and a detailer should protect them.

how about a used set of Z/G wheels on craigslist? I really messed up the lips on a set of Axis wheels trying to run them all season a few years ago. If you are picky about your Z, def buck up for another set, if you are REALLY REALLY picky, get a beater and park your Z till spring.

^^^ I swear its waaaay cheaper to buy a beater then buying a set of stock wheels. Old Sentra/Corolla(non-86)/Camry can be had for less then $1000. I would be more worried about the Z as a whole then just the finish of my wheels. Face it even with tax/tag/insurance how much could an old beater be? Got my last beater (kinda) S13 for $500 and +$40 after minor tune up.

Either buy used stock wheels or buy a cheap beater. No matter what, you'll forget to clean them or just get lazy. That's my .02
