Why do dudes lie about their height?
#22
LOL nah... I was seriously talking about just dudes in the US in general. The Asian friends that I know back home never lied about their height. Maybe it's the whole 6 feet ego thing in the US. Most of the world use the metric system and there's no such 183cm ego thing.

Again it's an American cultural thing that.. the more the better, the bigger the better... etc. I honestly admit that I have not seriously worked out for a day of my life. I'm still living off the fast metabolism that I got from being Asian. Benching? To me that's for barbarians :P

I unknowingly lied about my height for years. I never cared to measure, I just compared myself to someone who was 6', and I was a couple inches shorter, so I said I was 5'10.
it wasn't until my gf looked at my drivers license and said "no way are you 5'10", I stupidly argued my aforementioned logic to her and she busted out the measuring tape.
yep, sure enough, I'm 5'7 and my buddy who said he was 6' is more like 5'9 lol.
it's not a compensation thing or anything, I know I am a bit short but I could care less. I just didn't know any better. maybe the people you are running into have a similar excuse, I don't know.. just carry around some measuring tape and shut people up

True dat, its all about Ground and Pound. Doesn't matter how much you can bench when your tying not to pass out from a triangle choke. Rather have endurance and stamnia then super human freakish strength, but helps when your a country *** Texan who grew up splitting wood and building fences...

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
Serious, the next Combatives Class I teach you had better be there front and center. That way you wont have to worry about a taller gf smacking you around. Just swin move and rear naked choke that *** and walk away....
