Ill be in Richmond this weekend, wifes gpa is still in the hospital, she has been down there taking care of him for two weeks now. So this is a family weekend without a doubt.

Ill coordinate with Davidv in a few weeks to see if he is up for another.

I usually go 4 or 5 times a year and I already made it to 211 so all is not lost.

have fun, be safe and if you have the opportunity to go this time I think ALL should go... Skyline Drive is well worth it!

I took my wife to a cruise once and she was so bored. Now she figures it gets me out of the house and she goes clothes shopping. Not sure if thats a good thing?!

 

I've got a buddy that would like to join us. He's got a S/C'd Cobalt just checking in to see if everyone is cool with it?

Also wondering what time this wraps up? Have someone I have to meet with after the event and don't know what time to schedule it for. Any idea?

It's fine if you bring someone along that doesn't own a z or a g. As for when it ends it's really up to you. I can't remember exactly what time we normally get to the top but at that point you can either leave or continue back down with everyone I think. DavidV could give you a more precise time on that I think.

If it's 5:30 pm you should be fine. I normally get home around 3:30 or 4 on these cruises.

 

PolarBearPPW, how long does it take for you to get home from the top? When you did the other can you estimate when you guys got to the top?

 

Prolly takes me between an hour and a half to two hours depending on how fast I drive. From the time we enter the park to when we get to the top really depends on how many other motorists are there and how many times we stop at the different vantage points along the way.
