Despite a one week delay and a copycat cruse, turnout was excellent. Could not have asked for better weather. Traffic was light. Appreciate everyone who made this a success. We will do it again in the fall.
Really clean picture. I'm the one with the CF side skirts. The car is still under construction lol (ie body kit)
but the suspension o wow it passed A++++
It was so much fun.
Guys/Girls let me know when we doing this again.
I didn't have my camera so if any of you have any more pics of my car please send them to me
much appreciated

Great cruise!! Being at the front WITH our own pace car to make things fun FTMFW!!!!!!!!!!
I now realize how fast FI can kill a half a tank of gas!! Gas pumps on the mountain FTW!!!

You know, that was so funny to see that guy (Chris?) in the G35 sedan do that. When I'm up on the Mountain by myself I'll pretty much come to a stop and wait for traffic to clear so that I can actually enjoy the curves....glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks like that! haha

Ironically when we (the va beach group) left, it was ***** to the wall wide open driving with no one in front of us. Prob the best part of the whole drive. I was wore the F' out by time i got home! (At 8 pm!!
hahaha yeah i know tires would be done. I think that my breaks would also be done. O man I could smell them burning up, but they are new pads so maybe they hadn't bee properly broken in. That drive is fantastic though. But yeah nice meeting you too. That picture with your roadster and the coupe next to it is sick
It was a little scary on some blind turns with possible bicyclist but luckily no incidents and no cops.
I'm a nubie to threads whats: (FTMFW and FTW)
BTW nice meeting you to and impressive engine
O yeah most defenetly hands to to the g35 sedan (Pace car). He did a great job at pacing the ride. I was supper impressed. We had a good run very little traffic.

I just installed new OEM brembo pads and had already bedded them in before the trip. I didn’t experience any fade and they were biting excellent the whole trip.
That seems to be the main benefit of the Brembos. Stopping difference is only 5 feet more then non-Brembo in a straight line (on the 2003s at least). But they don't suffer the fade like non-brembos. I upgraded to 2006+ non Brembos on my 2003 and it was night and day!!!
O. I meant to mention this. So i left Skyland (went doen the 211 mountain to my moms house in warrenton) and somewhere between Skyland and 211 I came around a curve to be greeted by a ranger who hit me with instant on like the state boys! Luckily I was behind a car and we were only doing 40 mph. So be careful up there, no detector can beat instant on.
Nick:What is :"with instant on" ???????

That was right after I said enough and dropped off to just cruise the rest of the way to the next stop. I came around the turn and saw her taking pics and thought to my self, I bet those guys scared the living **** out of her. Guess I was right….lol
Nick:lol

What do you mean by :"already bedded them" ??????

For me the brakes worked great all day. I didn't experiance any soft/squishi break but I could smell my breaks working lol I have 05 OEM non-brembo w/ green stuff pads
