Hey guys, i bought a set of chargespeed lip kit, and I recently ran over the ice and the left side of my front lip fell off. i went to a shop and they charged me 450 to repair the fiber glass. i think they def tried to rip me off.
do u guys kno any shops that repair fiber glass in the MD/DC/VA area? thanks

 

can you not buy a brand new front lip for less than 450??? I would say there def trying to rip you off but best of luck. Post up some pics of the lip kit...

 

450 for repair and paint? If thats the case thats a decent price imo. Repairing fiberglass is not a really easy thing and is quite time consuming.

 

+1, repairing fiberglass is a biznatch... (trust me.. I've TRIED it, LOL)

 

it is without the painting...man my whole front lip fell off yesterday...

 

i just had a body shot repair a sideskirt for me for 50 bucks. I dont the extent of your damage but it must be horrible to charge you 450

 

Chargespeed lips are on the pricey side, the new kit for the kouki models is like $1400. Just for an unpainted lip kit.
