Default 75-80 Dragway Re-opening

For those of you familiar with this old landmark, the 75-80 Dragway [also referred to as Drag-A-Way] is scheduled to re-open on 4/3. Check out the new website.

http://www.75-80dragway.com/

It has been an eye sore, full of weeds and crap, for years. The new operators have cleaned the place up nicely.

Another place to run and have fun.

This is absolutely great. I can hear the cars from my house and really miss it. It was/is a dump but at least it's fun and legal. I saw some guys working there the other day so wonered if someone might be reopening it. Cool!

This is a surprise. I visited several times years ago but never raced there. Have to check the calendar.

I drive by the track every day [to-from work]. The remodeling is going at a very fast pace. The new operators are definitely investing funds into making it a nice place again.

Meh, glad to see it re-opening...but a little disappointed that they're only doing ¼mile races on Sundays. No Friday Night Test -N- Tune's for a while I guess. But then again, I live like 8 minutes from Mason Dixon. I'm itching to see what my SE-R can do.

i hope it's still BYOB, that was always fun in high school going there every friday night to drink.
i thought they closed it to build houses...i guess one good result from the lack of people buying homes!
