Default FunctionTuned FTMFGDW

Had a chance to get my car down to Function Tuned (Thanks Dave) and get my Osiris/Uprev tuned. Car is an 03 6mt w/87,000 miles.

Mods:
JWT Pop
MD 5/16" Spacer
UR pulley
Kinetix TP's
TurboXS Exhaust
Osiris Uprev

I had ordered the Osiris Std with the original intention of just doing e-tunes, but decided to just get it dyno tuned instead of getting and installing an afr gauge/logger.

Results:
FunctionTuned FTMFGDW-dyno-1.jpg

Dyno was a Dyno Dynamics (heartbreaker dyno). TQ isn't shown but was nearly equal in gains with a final number about 235-237. There is a solid 5whp gain from about 3000 to 5000 and from 5000-6500 the gains are about 7-9whp. It should aslo be noted that the intial dyno was NOT with stock ecu. I had already flashed the car with the base-map from UPREV.

The real gains were in driveability. Dave was able to pick up massive power in partial throttle and diagnose/fix a problem I was having with keeping idle.

After I got home, I went over to a local shop that has a dynojet for easier comparison. Results were 272.9/258.7. I left the print out over there, but I will pick it up tomorrow and edit the post with it. I feel that dyno may read a bit high, but still it is close to most/all dynojets.

Overall another Mid-A guy who is happy and recomends FunctionTuned.

FunctionTuned FTW

Congrats OP -

Many people don't seem to value the partial throttle tune enough, when in reality, that is where the bulk of your driving is done. Max numbers are great, but they lose their luster quickly if the car drives like a$$ in everyday situations.

Great job as usual Dave.

It really is a dream to drive on the highway......situations that required full throttle to pass in 6th now are not a problem with half throttle. In partial throttle there were some 40+whp gains from the std uprev relash. It alone was worth the tune. I was having this wierd idle problem where when the motor was already warm and I tried to start it, it wouldn't hold idle and stall. Both Uprev and Dave hadn't heard of this problem, but it seems to be remedied now.

Don't know prior to reflash. With the base-map the peak was 237/238, but it only held above 235 for about 2-300 rpm, holds 240+ for about 1k rpm now.

272whp NA on a DJ is sweet.

I miss my 262whp NA days, so simple, so reliable...

I just hope I can get my 1/4 down to your area when you were NA....I feel that this dynojet may read a bit high, but I don't have another one close to reference it.

I can only wish to get so much out of my 2003 when the time comes
to tune. Nice results imo.

those are indeed nice numbers. I know its pretty retarded to compare numbers on different dyno but I guess it can give you a slight bit of an idea.

that was mine a month or so ago with POP charger and 1/2 plenum spacer thats it. I have every mods you have minus the UR pulley now so I'll would be happy to make 270+ myself after tune.
