Default My vacation day at Function Tuned

Took a vacation day so I could actually get some work done to the car and turned out pretty good. I drove 215 miles up to Function Tuned for headers and a tune but had a time conflict when I first got there. Dave more than made up for this and hammered out the install. I want to thank Rob (polarbearppw) for giving me a siteseeing trip and it was great to actually get to hang out with someone on the forum. Once we got back Dave went over some tuning options (last tune was with Utec) and after some thought I decided to listen to his recommendation and switch to Osiris. My Utec is for sale in the forum sale threads. I am happy with everything and will continue to visit Dave for more work. I averaged 27 mpg on the way up and almost 29 mpg coming home @70mph. The car also reacts much quicker. Thanks Dave!!!
I have included my old dyno sheets with mrev, spacer, test pipes and utec.

New dyno sheets are mrev, spacer, test pipes, exhaust, headers, crank pulley and Osiris

Car is an 06 auto.

its ecu reflash you dont really need to buy anything technically. I need to get up to F:T sometimes to get my car tune also. Bought the Osiris tuner like a month now but have yet to have time to get it tune.

Glad you had a good time up here in NoVa. You got a great looking car that imo needs to be driven a little more often haha. Grats on your new power and I'm looking forward to seeing pictures with your new brakes on.

Dave reflashed my ecu with osiris.

It was nice to see the power increase but I like the feel of the car much more now.

Rob, I will def have some pictures up in 2 weeks of the brakes and with my wheels back on. I got home last night and my plans got cancelled. I should have went to chik fil a with you all. I will surely try and make it up there for a cookout so that will give me some more quality time with the car

That's a nice HP increase there!

Thanks everyone. I am still running the 06 stock airbox with drop in K&N filter. Don't really want to spend money on an intake that will produce small gains over what I have.

There is really no reason to swap it out for an aftermarket intake.

It was nice meeting you, and you need to drive that car MORE. It way to nice looking to keep locked up all the time. Can't wait to see the breaks!

And you as well. The way it looks the car may not get out much but I am hoping to come up for a cookout at Function Tuned. It would probably be the one closer to fall.

Out of 5,800 miles, I have put 1,290 on the car going to FT and it was nice meeting you as well. It is not a bad drive and i can stretch the car's legs out some.
