A good driver in a DE will give you a good run

I ran 13.77 @ 101.4mph stock

13.13 @ 107.1mph with bolt-ons

With a CRAP launch spinning and a $hit a$$ 2.2 60ft I went 13.5 @ 106.5mph

Seriously why bother with this whole thing. Can't we just have a M3/350z/G35 backroad cruise together? I really don't understand this whole BMW elitism BS.

Mini-vans are cool!!

edit: btw my mini van and your half a car trap the same speed. is that some incentive? lol
So your minivan is an SRT-8 Magnum? If it is then me thinks I would get raped!

I know many n/a Z's could beat me. I really just wanted a friendly run is all and truly not trying to start anything. I got a couple pm's so hopefully we can get to the track and have some friendly competition.

I will run trinity and I expect to get beat too! Ahahaha my poor inline 6 would get romped on by her car if it is what I think it is! Then again, I don't mind getting walked by a sick sounding car and that includes Z's.

A couple of guys have pm'd me. Maybe we can all get together and go to MIR on a test n tune day? I do go to church on Sundays, but I could get down there around 2ish on a sunday. I believe their test and tunes run from 10am-6pm.

Seeing how you're in the Mid-A, I'm sure you can find at least one of our members at your local strip, as they seem to visit the drag strip more often than the rest of the regions across the States.

For the time being, you can visit this thread to see how the 350Zs do. You wanted to compare the two cars, so this would be a great start.

For those who are saying "OMG run Alberto," wow. All I read was, "my daddy can beat you up." He asked for bolt-on DE Zs, not a TT'd one. It wasn't even remotely funny, so I don't know what you guys were trying to get at. Damn, some of you guys are so cool.
I understand that and I apologize for putting the street racing option in original post. I am well aware of link you posted and that is why I am interested in having a friendly run on the track with some of your members.

Thanks for your post and for not coming down hard on a noob. I really mean no disrespect at all.

Apparently you guys would pwn me but hey I don't mind! I mean if you guys are TT'd then I could have you run against a more formidable(sp?) opponent. He just has a 69 Firebird with some stuff done to it.....

also as long as Barni offers to still pay my track fee... lol
Hey I am good with track only and clearly that is the best place to run. See a couple posts above where I mentioned MIR test and tune on a Sunday.

Got your pm and you and I will be a great run. I am sure you will get me, but nonetheless I am good for a run. Would you be up for a test n tune in a couple weeks at MIR?

Yea maybe we can get some of you Z folks and perhaps some BMW guys and go to a test n tune on a Sunday in a couple weeks.

There are always going to be a bunch of fanboys and elitists in every car group. It is the nature of the beast, but I love all kinds of cars and can even appreciate a well done civic for goodness sakes! I have nothing but respect for the cars you all own. You won't find any BMW elitism with me guys.

Sounded like they were just messing around with each other from what I was reading?

^At the end of the day: Asian guys can't drive anyways, so it wouldn't really matter if they owned a Z, BMW, or a Ferrari

What BMW was he driving? My best ET is actually better than both of those, but I have only trapped 102mph once. Chances are I would be some touch competition for you on the track, but on a road course on a long back straight I would think you would pull away by a car or 2.

This Sunday is a Test n Tune and then the next one after that is the 31st of May. The 31st would probably be the best so that some more people have time to make plans to come up. I don't mind getting beat! Let's just go and have some fun. Maybe I can get some BMW guys and some of my LSx buddies to go as well.
