National G Club and IHOOT (In Honor of Our Troops) Presents: IHOOT Golf Classic

Ken (Twilightblue) who's a member of NGC is organizing the event and has posted the following:
Another Opportunity To Give Back To And Honor Our Troops - Jun 24
I am working with an organization called IHOOT (In Honor of Our Troops) that is putting on a The In Honor of Hour Troops Golf Classic in our area next month. They are hosting this charity event as a way to raise funds for our soldiers, especially the Wounded Warriors program. Several local sports celebrities are already on board and they will be having an event in addition to the Golf Classic at the Clarion Hotel Near National Harbor, where I work.
I have spoken with one of the organizers about NGC helping to sponsor this event with a car show in the parking lot of the hotel at 5:00pm on the night of the event, Wednesday, June 24, 2009.
What they are asking of us is a simple $20-$25 donation per car that shows in the parking lot. These funds will go to their organization to help seriously wounded soldiers. This donation would give you a ticket to the event inside the hotel as well which will last until 10:00pm.
We are still working out the fine details of the event, but I wanted to put this out there to raise interest with the rest of NGC and see how everyone felt about it. This is a huge opportunity for us to give back to those that have fought for us. Their last event in 2008 at Fort Meade attracted over 1,000 people and lots of media.
What do you say NGC?? Can we do this for our troops?
I know there's a lot of great Z people who like to do charity work and at the same time show your cars. So I'd like to invite all of you to help support this event as well. Please feel free to PM me with any questions.

If I was home I would gladly do this...
Let me know if I can donate. The wounded warrior program is desperetly needed for our troops with serious injuries from the war.

^^ thanks guys.... the most important thing is that everyone who can and want to can show support to attend or donate if they cannot attend.
