ive actually been considering selling my car for a really long time. i almost sold it actually in december but i couldnt do it. now i actually want to because im flat out broke because of the car lol.

So whats all going worng with the Z besides ur dad backing into your car

 

nothing besides running too rich. but thats not really the problem.

i just dont want to worry about like where i park my car and where i can drive it to. plus im moving to chicago next year and my Z is kind of useless there with all the snow.

Its just time to get rid of it and wait till i can actually afford to drive a nice car without being broke 24/7.

 

Yea man I know I havent met you but for the cost of selling your aftermarket parts you could buy a beater unno:

 

for real sell all that aftermarket **** then buy like a 91 hatch and beat that thing and keep the Z

 

yeah but then i still have to pay my insurance. and like... me being my age, my insurance is really high. and im just tired of doing this never ending cycle of working way too much and still having no money. lol

work and go to school.
and im going to northwestern univ. next year so im going to be overwhelmed with school work. im not going to have enough time to work as much as i do now, and im going to be even more broke trying to pay for this damn car and my insurance and every single thing that goes wrong with it.

 

I have no idea yet man. Dealerships are offering my 18k for trade in. I havent even thought about the as-is price yet. im thinking around 20k.

 

sell it privatley and then buy an 03 or 04 for cheap as hell then youll be good and only have to pay for insurance

 

I had a 97 cavalier then a 03 corolla as beaters... Now a sportbike but I would do everything to keep the Z It puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it

you can get a an 03 for like 11,000 have more miles then you would prob want but i mean its a Z bro... then youll have extra cash to thro around

 

i really would too. and thats why i still have it. but this is just ridiculous.
ok so this is what really led me to making this decision:

my tire popped two weeks ago. i had to worry about how i was going to pay for the new tire because i had no money left over from making my car payment.

now this ****ing bumper made me so pissed off, and i dont know how im going to get this fixed either.

everytime someone goes near my car i worry about how it can get scratched.
i love my car, and trust me after im out of college, ill get the Z thats currently out. but for now, this is the smartest thing for me to do.

 

i completly understand... whats ur insurance and car payment a month? and how much do you make every 2 weeks if you dont mind me asking

 

Man Im sorry to hear this... But like jason said you can get a highmileage 03 for the cost of a normal car unless you are talking a beater beater car....

I am serious about the headlights and taillights though...

Insurance: 350

income per two weeks: 500 ish.

so when i pay for gas... i have very little money left.

 

yeah dude get a 03 04 Z youll have way more money... sell privatly just keep your wheels and ****... then you can pay for car in cash have no payment but insurance and youll be fine

 

yeah i can definitely do that if i end up trading it in. but wouldnt they notice? haha.

i might go with an older Z. but i might just go with like a $2k car for the next couple years.
lets see how this turns out, and then ill make a decision.
